Adrian Cartier (BA in Mathematics '02; PhD in Mathematics '06) is a data scientist, co-founder, and Chief Data Officer at Freight Science, Inc., a SaaS company delivering data and analytics solutions for the transportation industry. A globally recognized, award-winning, and patent-holding speaker, Adrian addresses topics from data science trends to diversity in technology. His 20+ year career spans academia, private consulting, agriculture, and transportation.
Dedicated to giving back, Adrian volunteers with charitable organizations in St. Louis and has served on various boards and committees at Ole Miss and other universities in Missouri. Most recently, Adrian served on the Now and Ever Steering Committee for the College of Liberal Arts, which further fueled his passion to support the university.
