What led you to want to serve on the School of Education Board of Advisors?

The Board of Advisors opportunity provides a great way to meet others in education. The networking opportunities are very important. I also love the idea of giving back to the university that means so much to me. In my current position at ICC, it has been beneficial to have a great connection to the university.

SOE Alumni: Why did you choose to attend UM and the School of Education?

I grew up in an Ole Miss family. I grew up going to Ole Miss games and knew that I wanted to attend Ole Miss. When I decided to major in education, the School of Education just made sense. It was a great decision, and I loved the experience and friendships I made while in the School of Education.
