Dr. Keith Davis is a three-time graduate of the University of Mississippi, with a M.Ed, Ed.S, and Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. He also holds a BSE English from Arkansas State University. Keith joined the SOE Board of Advisors in the Fall of 2024.

What led you to want to serve on the School of Education Board of Advisors?
I am honored to serve on the School of Education Board of Advisors, as I am deeply committed to advancing the mission of the University of Mississippi's School of Education. As an educator, I believe in the power of strategic guidance and support to enhance educational quality and impact. Serving on the Board offers a unique opportunity to contribute my insights toward refining the school's goals and initiatives while supporting philanthropic efforts to strengthen resources for educators and students alike. I am eager to collaborate with fellow advisors to recognize excellence in education and drive positive change in our field.
Why did you choose to attend UM and the School of Education?
I chose to attend the University of Mississippi and the School of Education because of its strong reputation for preparing educators committed to excellence and innovation. The School’s emphasis on practical, research-based learning and its dedication to fostering leadership in education aligned perfectly with my career goals. I was also drawn to the sense of community and support among faculty and students, which has proven invaluable throughout my journey. Attending Ole Miss gave me the foundation I needed to become a more effective educator and leader, and I am proud to be part of such a respected institution.
