    Matthew Breindl is a 2021 graduate of the University of Mississippi and a commissionee of the Naval ROTC Program at the University. He is currently a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy. His first Division Officer tour was aboard USS New Orleans (LPD-18) and his second is aboard USS Dewey (DDG-105).

Ole Miss NROTC prepared me for my naval career by mixing the best aspects of being a standard college student with the best aspects and need-to-know knowledge taught in the Naval Science Department and weekly meetings. By the time commissioning comes and you enter the fleet, you are at the SAME level as those from different commissioning sources. Come to the 'Sip. Hotty Toddy!
