What does this scholarship award mean to you?

This scholarship award is a blessing to me and my family because someone chose me to help further my education. I am so very grateful and honored to be awarded this scholarship. I hope to make everyone proud.

What inspired you to pursue a degree at the School of Education?

God and my family are the ones that inspire me the most. I feel like God has given me an amazing gift to teach and he truly is the one who has guided me down the path that I am on. When I was a kid always knew I wanted to go to Ole Miss and God is the one who led me to the School of Education.

What do you plan to do after graduation?

After graduation I plan on returning to South Panola Elementary School where I went to be a teacher. I just want to give back to the community that I grew up in and really make a difference in the lives of the kids that I teach.
