Why I Applied to the Principal Corps

When I first got into education, I did not have an actual goal of what I wanted to accomplish. Through years of experience and challenge, I realized that teachers constantly leave the classroom. One of the biggest reasons is because of support. I want to gain all the tools needed to be an efficient principal. I sense a lot of leaders forget that they were teachers first, and move out of that mindset of the classroom to put on a new leader hat. I want to be the biggest support system for our educators.
