Why did you choose Ole Miss?
I chose University of Mississippi for a multitude of reasons, but the people stood out the most. This university has a rare ability to make you feel like you belong, no matter how far you are from home. As an out-of-state student, coming to a new place naturally brings some uncertainty and unsettling emotions. However, the strong sense of community at Ole Miss made that transition much easier. Knowing that I could rely on the support and welcoming nature of the people here ultimately gave me the confidence to branch out and choose this university.

I chose my major because it aligns with how I naturally think about ideas, opportunities, and creating something that has a real impact. Entrepreneurship is not just about building a company from the ground up; it is about encouraging innovation, creativity, and leadership which are qualities I want to continue developing. Additionally, this major is designed to teach students essential business skills such as business planning, marketing, finance, and supply chain management. These areas of study provide the knowledge and tools needed to turn ideas into successful ventures and prepare students for a variety of career paths.

What faculty or staff member has made a significant impact on your college experience and why?
While there are multiple faculty and staff members who have impacted my college journey, Larry Goehrig has influenced me far beyond simply being my professor. Larry has the ability to make every interaction in class welcoming, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable. He shares advice from his own life experiences that is not only funny, but also authentic and meaningful. Through his teaching and encouragement, Larry inspires each of us to be confident in ourselves and to take risks, reminding us that growth often comes from stepping outside of our comfort zones.

What are your hobbies/interests?
My hobbies and interests include working out such as lifting or hiking, playing sports, traveling, networking/meeting new people and being around my friends and family.

What are your plans post grad?
My plans as of now consist of moving back to Austin or potentially moving to Dallas, Texas. I am still in the interview and job seeking process which is very exciting.
