I have a BSW from Ole Miss and a MSSW from UT Knoxville. I lived in Mississippi for around 20 years and have lived in East TN with my husband and kids the last 7 years. I'm returning to Ole Miss to work on an Ed.S. with an emphasis in play therapy.

Meet Aubrey

Why did you choose to attend the University of Mississippi?

I chose to return to Ole Miss after receiving my BSW from Ole Miss and having an amazing college experience with supportive professors and advisors.

What inspired you to pursue a degree at the School of Education?

I wanted to become a Registered Play Therapist, and obtaining an Ed.S. degree in Counselor Education will set me up well to be a RPT and be able to teach courses up to college level about counseling and play therapy.

Tell us about your community involvements and/or hobbies:

I have had past community involvement being on a committee for East TN Kidney Foundation and serving on their fundraisers. My current hobbies include quilting, embroidery work, kayaking, and hiking.
