What research have you been working on lately?
In general, many of my working projects explore how our identification with specific groups influences how we perceive and interact with others. A recent project of mine explores how people view instances of sexual harassment differently based on the identity of the people involved.
What is your favorite thing about being a graduate student in the department?
I believe the best part of my experience as a student is the people, faculty and students alike. There truly is a community in the department that is full of respect, support, and good times.
What is your favorite thing about living in Oxford?
I love how green the city is, especially as the seasons change. There are beautiful parks and trails here that I frequent often.
What is your favorite course you have taken so far?
My favorite course so far is a tie between Developmental Psychology by Dr. Stephanie Miller and Psychology of Gender by Dr. Carrie Smith. I learned so much in both courses and they are both fantastic instructors.
What do you do when you are not studying?
When I'm not studying, I am spending times with my pups Rhys and Max and rewatching my comfort shows.
What is a really interesting or really boring fact about yourself?
I have never broken a bone in my body.
