    A wife and mother of three boys! I strive daily to impact my household and those around me in a uplifting and resilient manner. I think with all the world presents to use on a daily basis it is important to build a community that is supportive.

What does this scholarship award mean to you?

This scholarship further allows for me to pursue a dream, have an opportunity with the support of an amazing family.

Why did you choose to attend the University of Mississippi?

I chose the University of Mississippi because of the connectivity of the student body and the support of the staff. I feel that the professors truly want me to impact the industry with my greatness.

Tell us about a favorite memory, professor, and/or academic course during your time at the School of Education:

With this being my first year I am appreciative of all the staff and professors who have made this transition seamless and exciting.

What inspired you to pursue a degree at the School of Education?

Working as a RBT ( registered behavioral technician) currently I want to be able to continue to support children in homes, private school settings and public schools who are diagnosed with Autism.

Tell us about your community involvements and/or hobbies:

My hobbies are sports, social engagements and hope to get involved in the community as I am here longer in Oxford, MS.

What do you plan to do after graduation?

I plan to sit for the BCBA exam, open my own practice, and serve the community with various diagnosis helping them and their families move closer and closer to normalcy.
