Why I Applied to the Principal Corps

As soon as I discovered the Principal Corps program, I knew I wanted to apply because of the year long internship and cohort model, providing both experience and collaboration.  I’m excited to start thinking like a school leader, and know that the coursework in this program will give me a great foundation.  Having an internship to practically apply what I’ve learned, and a cohort to reflect and discuss with, will help me apply what I’ve learned under the guidance of the excellent administrators in my district.  I hope to gain experience making decisions as an effective school leader, and I know that the Principal Corps program is the best place to do so.
