Cole Chacon
Cole is a sophomore double majoring in Public Policy Leadership and Biology with a minor in chemistry. In addition to his role as a Lott ambassador, he is a global ambassador. He is actively involved in Ole Miss global brigades, SMB Honors College, Ole Miss Big event, and Greek life
How did you choose your major and what was the appeal of the Lott program?
I was attracted to the Lott Leadership Institute due to the connections and networking opportunities it provides. I value the relationships formed through the Lott mentorship program, events put on by Lott students and staff, and the small one on one class sizes. I chose PPL as my major because other students that are in the program are great people who want to see you succeed.

What are your career aspirations?
I plan to go to medical school after I graduate from Ole Miss. I have no clue which speciality I want to be yet or where I want to go. I just know I want to get there.

Is there a professor that has been particularly helpful to you?
Dr. Liu has been extremely helpful throughout my first year. She was very helpful in guiding me in her class and outside of her class. She was a great person to go and ask questions to. She was someone who really calmed me down when I was stressed.
