What research have you been working on lately?

My research has focused on identifying barriers to health and well-being, such as the impact of low diabetes knowledge and stigma on diabetes management, concerns around risky health behaviors like vaping, and psychological factors associated with elevated blood pressure.

What is your favorite thing about being a graduate student in the department?

What I value most about our department is its culture of friendliness and the willingness of everyone to lend a helping hand.

What is your favorite thing about living in Oxford?

Oxford strikes the perfect balance—it’s lively and fun while still being safe, calm, and cozy.

What is your favorite course you have taken so far?

John Young's class on evidence-based practices provided me with a foundation for developing my clinical skills.

What do you do when you are not studying?

I’ve been enjoying playing pickleball around town. With so many indoor and outdoor facilities, it’s a year-round hobby that helps me make new friends and stay active

What is a really interesting or really boring fact about yourself?

One day, I'd like to restore an old American muscle car! Something especially rare, like a 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda, would be amazing.
