What does this scholarship award mean to you?

I am beyond grateful to be selected as a recipient of this scholarship. This scholarship means to me a way that I can help afford my education while at Ole Miss. Essentially, this works towards my goal of achieving my degree while relieving financial worries from my parents or me.

Why did you choose to attend the University of Mississippi?

The University of Mississippi has a great reputation for a great academic program in education. I also was well aware of how transfer-friendly this institution is by welcoming transfer students and providing several scholarship opportunities. The University resides in a beautiful town, Oxford, that provides a thriving and lively community.

Tell us about your community involvements and/or hobbies:

I am heavily involved in my town, church, and family. I am a commissioned artist of my self-made small business of art & lettering that I began in ninth grade. I help out at my church by serving as a church leader and planning events. My hobbies pertain to working out, reading, painting, outdoor work, bracelet making, and being productive everyday.
