Why I Applied to the Principal Corps

I applied to the Principal Corps because I’m passionate about creating lasting change in Mississippi schools. After several years in the classroom, I’ve seen how strong leadership directly impacts student success. I want to grow into a leader who uplifts teachers, advocates for students, and builds a school culture centered on equity and excellence. Through this experience, I hope to gain the skills and support needed to lead with purpose and make a meaningful difference in my community.
