  • About

Hi! My name is Jamie May I'm from Chicago,IL and live on the Southside of Chicago. I love to hang out with my friends and get a treat from time to time. I've wanted to be a teacher my whole life and living out that dream of mine now is truly a experience.

Why did you choose to attend the University of Mississippi?

I choose Ole Miss because I've grown up coming down to Tennessee all my life as my mom is from Memphis. I've always wanted to move south and when I came to Ole Miss I feel in love. The whole experience made it feel like home and I loved every aspect of it.

What inspired you to pursue a degree at the School of Education?

I've always wanted to be a teacher my whole childhood. I have been apart of teaching type things my whole high school years and I loved every single part of it. I love kids and everything has to do with teaching and I can't wait to have a classroom of my own one day.
