This scholarship award granted me to opportunity to grow professionally and personally! I can now put focus on my studies and engage in other helpful opportunities, without having to bear the burden of financial stress.
What inspired you to pursue a degree at the School of Education?
Since my younger days, I had always planned to be in the field of education. After thorough research and conversation, I decided to attend the School of Education. On my first visit, I was absolutely drawn to the welcoming environment and the friendly staff. It felt like home, immediately. I graduated in May 2024 with my Bachelors, and I did it by having the BEST instructors! I wouldn't have chosen anywhere else to obtain my Master's Degree!
What do you plan to do after graduation?
After graduation, I plan to pursue a career at a higher-level institute within the state of Mississippi to ensure that all students have the proper resources they need to excel not only academically, but socially and emotionally.
