Meet Kendall
Why did you choose to attend the University of Mississippi?
I chose to attend the University of Mississippi because my older sister went here. Multiple times a year I got to visit her on campus and fell in love with the community, the beautiful campus, and Oxford as a whole. The University of Mississippi felt like a great place to continue my education and make lots of friends and memories
Tell us about your community involvements and/or hobbies:
I have always been involved in my church back home. I help in the children's nursery and help put on events for the church. I also volunteered in a first-grade classroom during my senior year of high school. I was able to be an aide to the teacher and a resource to all of the students. Throughout high school I also was in ASL Honor Society which allowed me to volunteer at multiple deaf events for elementary students.
What do you plan to do after graduation?
After graduation I plan to find a teaching job in Washington. I'm unsure of what district I want to work in yet. After a few years of teaching, I want to go back and get my master’s degree in order to further my education.
