Why did you choose Ole Miss?

I decided Ole Miss was home after visiting. Before my visit I knew this university offered everything I was interested in, so feeling at home was the final piece of the puzzle.

Why did you choose Finance as your major?

I chose Finance to be better suited for the corporate legal field, I realized it would be a great strength of mine if I could analyze both the legal and business sides of a corporation.

What faculty or staff member has made a significant impact on your college experience and why?

Carrol Moore, Mrs.Moore was my first professor at the university. I attended her EDHE class, and with the class being less gruesome I was able to see her personality beyond being a professor. After leaving her class I would run into her and she would always check on how I was doing. And while her class may not have been the most prestigious, when I was looking into internships I knew exactly who I could call on to get a well represented letter of recommendation. My internship she wrote the letter for was a corporate law internship (the field I intend on practicing in) so as of now, Mrs.Moore has impacted not only my collegiate experience, but she’s aided me in securing/realizing what I believe may very well be, my future occupation.

What are your plans post grad?

With me graduating 2 years early I plan on taking a gap year to pause and enjoy life. During my gap year I plan on being plenty efficient with hopeful internships and a job opportunity. Along with interning/working I plan on preparing for and taking the LSAT and applying to UM Law School. Before returning next fall I also plan on traveling, hitting the road to see the states and hitting the sky to see the world.
