Quick Intro
Leighton Shearer is from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and is expected to graduate in May 2026. He earned his B.A. in Political Science with an English minor from the University of Mississippi in 2022. At Ole Miss Law, he serves as a Managing Editor for the journals and is Vice President of the Air and Space Law Society. He has gained legal experience through roles with Mississippi Circuit Court Judge Brad Touchstone, the Raspet Flight Research Laboratory, and the Law Offices of Robert M. Strumor. Leighton developed an interest in air and space law during orientation, where he recognized the field’s unique importance and far-reaching global impact.
