Tell us about a favorite memory, professor, and/or academic course during your time at the School of Education:
One of the most rewarding courses I've taken is Dr. Jay Cossey's School Law and Leadership class. This course equips educational leaders with the knowledge and skills to formulate policies, efficiently allocate resources, and design programs in compliance with legal mandates. Additionally, it has provided me with valuable insights into various cases within the educational sphere, pushing me to expand my understanding and expertise in this field.
What inspired you to pursue a degree at the School of Education?
I have always been fascinated by the intricacies of neurology and cerebral function. Working with students with special needs offers an opportunity to directly influence the lives of children with diverse challenges, including disabilities, learning impediments, and developmental setbacks. Facilitating learning by equipping students with tools and resources tailored to their learning styles contributes significantly to their academic growth and overall development.
