Why did you choose to attend UM?
I chose to enroll at the University of Mississippi because of M.O.S.T 2019, it really helped me choose my decision with a 3-day college experience but also having fun. It’s strong academic programs, a beautiful campus, and a vibrant student community. It's a place where you can pursue your passions and create lifelong memories!
When and why did you choose your major/minor?
I chose social work because I’m passionate about helping others and making a positive impact in people’s lives.
What are your career goals?
To be the best social worker I can be, whether it's helping people or advocating.

What has been a particularly meaningful way you have engaged in a community? (Either on or off campus?
Simply just joining the student organizations that the university offer such as ESTEEM, Black Student Union, and Student Social Work Organization.
What do you like to do outside of school (hobbies/interests)?
- Create DIYs activities
- Shop either online or in store
- Watch Tiktok
What are you binge watching/reading/listening to?
Keeping up with the Kardashians
What is your favorite place to eat in Oxford?
Oby’s or Lost Pizza Co.
What are some dream travel destinations (and why?)
Dubai because of its stunning architecture, luxurious resorts, vibrant nightlife, and world class shopping.
What’s your favorite place to study on or off campus and why?
Downstairs in the library on the third floor, very quiet and ducked off

The Department of Social Work provides a supportive and inclusive environment for students to learn and grow
What are your 3 favorite things about your major/department at UM?
- Very broad, has a lot of career opportunities
- Understanding the importance of communication and clarification in the social work-client relationship
- The constant learning and growth that comes with the profession
