Receiving this scholarship award is an incredible honor and validation of my hard work and dedication. It serves as a reminder that I’m on the right path, and it empowers me to keep pursuing excellence in my academic and professional journey.
What inspired you to pursue a degree at the School of Education?
My inspiration to pursue a degree at the School of Education stems from my passion for making a meaningful impact on the lives of young people. Growing up, I was fortunate to have teachers who believed in me and nurtured my potential, and I want to pay that forward by helping students discover their own strengths. Education is a powerful tool for change, and I’m driven by the desire to create equitable learning environments where all students can thrive. This commitment to fostering growth and opportunity is what led me to the field of education.
What do you plan to do after graduation?
After graduation, I plan to continue my career in education, focusing on leadership roles that allow me to influence positive change within schools and communities. My goal is to become a school administrator, where I can advocate for equitable educational opportunities and support teachers in creating inclusive, effective learning environments. I also hope to mentor new educators, helping them navigate the challenges of the profession and inspiring them to make a lasting impact on their students. Ultimately, I aim to contribute to the growth and success of the next generation of learners.
