Why did you apply to Principal Corps? What do you expect to gain from this experience?

I applied for the Principal Corps to further my career in education at a higher level without accruing the higher debt. I have been encouraged by my superiors to join the leadership side of education for many years. This opportunity was presented to me, so I took a chance on myself. I expect to gain understanding of education from the leadership perspective. I expect to gain tools and strategies to make the most positive and impactful decisions for students, faculty, and community when situations that may occur at my school or in my district requiring me to take the leadership role.
