What does this scholarship award mean to you?

This scholarship award means I was chosen out of several others. I do not take this lightly. I am extremely grateful with joy to be a recipient.

Why did you choose to attend the University of Mississippi?

I chose to attend the University of Mississippi due to the quality of education which was provided when I completed my Bachelors and Masters degree.

Tell us about a favorite memory, professor, and/or academic course during your time at the School of Education:

EDCI 352 was a favorite undergraduate course. This course was taught by Dr. Ann Monroe and she taught this course with authenticity while building relationships with her students. My favorite graduate level course was EDUC 691 because it brought together a diverse group of students to explore diversity which exist in education. Dr. Joel Amidon was not only acting as the role of a facilitator but he was an active participant in the task we completed.
