Croft Institute Internships, Fellowships & Opportunities
Croft students pursue internships, fellowships, and other opportunities in fields like policy, public health, global business, advocacy, and research.
Turn Global Study Into Experience
Take Your Interests Further
Croft students are encouraged to connect what they study with what they want to explore next. With support from faculty, staff, alumni, and visiting professionals, students pursue internships, fellowships, research, public service, and other opportunities that build on their language study, regional focus, and academic interests.
Croft students do not have to wait until graduation to test their interests. Internships, research, public service, summer programs, and some fellowships give them ways to build experience while they are still students.
Croft Students Compete Nationally
Croft students and alumni have earned recognition through some of the most competitive scholarships and fellowships available.
In the past three years, Croft students and alumni have been awarded or reached finalist or semi-finalist status for Fulbright, Boren, Rhodes, Marshall, Rangel, Pickering, Truman, Mitchell, Congress Bundestag, and Yenching opportunities. That record includes 16 Fulbright Program Fellowships and 15 David L. Boren Scholarships.

Croft students use internships, fellowships, and applied experiences to step into the kinds of work they may want to keep pursuing.

Build Toward Future Careers
Internships, fellowships, and other opportunities help Croft students put their education in motion. They give students a way to test interests, build professional experience, strengthen applications for graduate study or national fellowships, and make better decisions about the fields they may want to enter.
Those steps can matter long after graduation. Croft alumni have carried their International Studies background into diplomacy, public service, law, medicine, business, consulting, global development, nonprofit leadership, and other fields that reward language skills, cultural understanding, and serious analytical work.
