Thematic Tracks at Croft
Choose a thematic track that helps you follow the questions, issues, and ideas you want to study through Croft.
Follow the Issues That Interest You
Croft students come to International Studies with serious curiosity. Some are drawn to politics and public life. Some want to understand markets, trade, and development. Others are interested in culture, identity, health, advocacy, or the ways communities respond to change.
Thematic tracks help students give that curiosity direction. Each Croft student pairs a thematic track with a regional concentration, language study, study abroad, and senior thesis research. Together, those choices help students build an International Studies major around the people, places, and questions they want to understand more fully.
How Tracks Shape the Croft Experience
A student interested in health might examine policy, inequality, and access in Latin America. A student drawn to politics might study institutions and public life in East Asia. A student focused on markets might connect language study, regional expertise, and thesis research to questions about trade, development, or global business.
At Croft, students build an academic path with enough focus to go deep and enough range to keep following what they discover.
