Support the School of Accountancy Today

University of Mississippi accounting majors are in high demand with hundreds of them interning in dozens of states and several countries each year. For generations, Ole Miss accountancy students have been learning how to manage numbers that govern nearly every aspect of our lives. Since the first classes were held here in 1917, those students have modernized with the times to include cutting-edge data analytics degrees in accounting and taxation.

A New Accountancy Building

The accountancy school has spent more than a decade being ranked among the nation’s top 10. The university is raising funds for a new school of accountancy building to take the program to new heights.

Donors can help us realize our vision of a new, more than $125 million home at the corner of Grove Loop and University Avenue. Balconies and terraces of the new building will offer impressive views of UM’s famous Grove. The four story, 100,000-square foot building will have tiered auditoriums and classrooms. There will be conference rooms for group projects, space to study alone, and office suites for faculty and staff.

The Patterson School of Accountancy will be more than just an impressive new space. It will be an important recruiting tool for top faculty and students. The new school will also put the entire department under the same roof, providing an even stronger sense of community. To make a gift, visit the Patterson School of Accountancy Building Fund.
