Ole Miss First

Ole Miss First offers four-year scholarships to incoming freshmen who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, leadership and service. Scholars receive $4,500 annually and benefit from a strong support system that includes dedicated mentors and organized monthly gatherings, which foster connection, encouragement and personal growth.

This unique program supports a multifaceted community of students — future engineers, physicians, artists, writers and more — united by a shared commitment to excellence. Many Ole Miss First scholars have earned top honors, including: ASB officers, Hall of Fame, Ole Miss Ambassadors, Orientation Leaders, Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, Rhodes Scholar, Truman Scholar, Taylor Medalists, Class Favorites, Homecoming Maids, Freshman Council members, ODK and Columns Society inductees. 

Founded during Chancellor Emeritus Robert Khayat’s tenure, Ole Miss First continues to provide tuition support alongside leadership development and mentorship.
