Once you apply for the WCTP, you'll gain access to our:
- Online candidate support course, WCTP 601
- Instructional video library
- Monthly online Zoom meetings
- Face-to-face or online mentoring (earn CEUs for both)
- Closed Facebook group
- Peer to peer communication through Remind
- Suggested timelines and assignments
- Spring Super Saturday mini-conference
Need help financing the WCTP?
If you're an educator in Mississippi you may be in luck. In order to increase teacher retention and strengthen Mississippi schools, we offer scholarships for the following counties:
- Adams
- Amite
- Bolivar
- Claiborne
- Coahoma
- Holmes
- Issaquena
- Jefferson
- Leflore
- Quitman
- Sharkey
- Sunflower
- Tallahatchie
- Washington
- Wilkinson
- Yazoo
These counties receive a $10,000 annual stipend once certifications are achieved.
All other Mississippi counties receive a $6,000 stipend upon certification.
