Jordan Center for Journalism Advocacy and Innovation

WHAT WE DO

The Jordan Center for Journalism Advocacy and Innovation at the University of Mississippi confronts the growing threats of information quality and media fragmentation by advancing journalistic standards and promoting media literacy. Through research, expert convenings, and public engagement, the Center equips journalists and citizens alike with tools to navigate a complex media landscape, fostering a more resilient and informed public.

    Our Challenge

Our center champions journalism as a crucial backbone of our society by advancing media literacy, supporting journalistic research and innovation, and fostering critical engagement with the information that shapes our democracy.
