Nicholas Beaumont is a sophomore at the University of Mississippi and a member of the Chancellor’s Honor Roll. A Southern Studies major, he enjoys writing, reading news, and working with the School of Journalism and New Media. Formerly a member of The Pride of the South Marching Band, Nicholas currently performs with the Pride of the Sip, which supports basketball games. He also works as a server at Grit, a local Oxford dining restaurant. Born and raised in the suburbs of New Orleans, Nicholas embraces his heritage by learning Italian and even studied in Salerno, Italy, over the summer. In high school, he completed over 100 hours of community service each year through the Key Club, Knights of Columbus, and the New Orleans Volunteer Association, developing a passion for building communities. He is eager to continue this work as a CEED Innovation Scholar.
