How Much Does it Cost to Come to the Psychological Services Center?

We know that seeking help can be expensive. We also know that sticker shock shouldn't keep you from a better life. That's why our fee system is designed for your budget.

  • We work on a sliding scale. Depending on your income, the cost of your visit will change.
  • First appointments/intakes are a flat $25 fee.
  • Our fees range anywhere from $10 to $60 per hour (see the table below for a full price list).

The Psychological Services Center doesn't accept insurance, but will gladly submit claims to insurance companies on your behalf. Since the clinic is not “on panel” with most insurances, often the services won't be either.

However, we have designed our services to be on line with what many insurance company co-pays and deductibles would be. We offer a very generous sliding scale.

If you're unable to pay, don't worry. We won't turn you away. Just let our staff know during your first session and we'll take care of you.

Psychological Assessments Clinic Testing fee scale

Complete evaluations, including testing, test scoring, report preparation, and the feedback meeting, are $800. Fees can be paid by check, cash, or card (Visa and Mastercard) at the evaluation session.

Insurance policies rarely cover psychological evaluations. The client is encouraged, however, to contact an insurance representative, and inquire about his/her policy in this respect.

For a limited number of cases per academic year, the fee can be reduced via a sliding fee scale, depending on monthly family income and number of dependents.
