We are excited to announce the first annual National Student Employment Week at the University of Mississippi that will take place April 13th-April 17th.
Celebration Dinner
Student Workers and their supervisors are invited to an end-of-the-year celebration on April 13th from 5:30-6:30pm in the Union Ballroom to recognize the efforts and triumphs of on-campus student workers! To RSVP, please fill out the registration form.
Due to limited capacity, spacing is limited to the first 300 invitees to submit their RSVP!
Explore the Pack Your Portfolio Series
Join our week-long “Pack Your Portfolio” series designed to equip you with the documents and skills to land your dream internship, job, or graduate school position. From interview skills, business appropriate attire, and LinkedIn level-ups, each session will provide practical tools to help you grow professionally and invest in your future.
Earn Prizes!
For each event you participate in, your name will be entered into a drawing for prizes. The more you “Pack your Portfolio”, the more chances to win! All entries will be put into a random drawing for all available prizes, and winners will be drawn at random on Monday, April 20.

The Career Center will hold a Career Closet Fashion Show highlighting business appropriate attire on Friday, April 10th at 12:00pm. The looks featured in the fashion show and looks like it are available free of charge through the Career Closet!
After you attend the Career Closet Fashion Show, complete the "Event Completion Form" to earn your entry into the giveaway drawing.
The Career Center will hold a Resume Presentation/Workshop that will take place on April 14th and 15th at 12:00pm and 1:00pm on both days. This is a great opportunity to learn more about what makes an outstanding resume and get feedback about yours!
After you attend the Resume Presentation and Workshop, complete the "Event Completion Form" to earn your entry into the giveaway drawing.
The free headshot event will take place on April 14th (10:30am-12:30pm) or April 15th (11:00am-1:00pm) in the Career Center. Make sure you dress professionally. If you need professional attire, check out the Career Closet.

The Mock Interview event is available all week and is a self-paced activity designed to help you succeed in your next interview! To complete this activity, follow this link to Big Interview and click the "register for free" button. Create an account using your Ole Miss email. When it asks you for an assignment code, use code AC3F13.
After you complete the Mock Interview Activity, complete the "Event Completion Form" to earn your entry into the giveaway drawing.
The LinkedIn Checklist is available all week and is a self-paced activity you can use to market yourself well through LinkedIn.
