Living Communities

Our students choose where they live and with whom they live. We offer many community and building options, so it’s easy to choose a campus residence that best suits your needs, desires, and budget.

RC South seeks to create an atmosphere that is conducive to both learning and fun. A senior faculty fellow lives in the building with their family and contributes to life in the college by programming activities that help students nurture their academic and extracurricular interests.

When you accept an invitation to join the RC South community, you agree to be an active participant of the community and fulfill certain responsibilities, including but not limited to attending at least one RC South faculty-led program per semester, completing study hall hours each week (if needed), and meeting with an advisor regularly to ensure that you are progressing academically.

The Honors College Living-Learning Community (LLC) provides a supportive residential experience to honors students who seek to become citizen scholars fired by the life of the mind. Members come from diverse backgrounds, are committed to the public good, and are driven to find solutions. Through conversation and collaboration, members support one another’s growth as citizen scholars.
The Health and Human Sciences Living and Learning Community, sponsored by the School of Applied Sciences, offers a residential living opportunity for freshmen majoring in degree programs in the School of Applied Sciences. Our co-curricular programs are tailored to help you grow as an individual and as part of a community of learners.  Our learning community is designed to help you get more out of your Ole Miss experience.
Members of our general communities enjoy a residential experience that offers enrichment connecting to common general interests. Living among peers of varied educational interests and participating in programming led by student housing staff enhances student success and helps them to build skills that bring success in their careers and in life.
