Freshmen Studies (Undeclared)
Not sure what you want to major in just yet? No problem! Our Professional Academic Advisors are here to help!
What the CSSFYE Offers Freshman Studies Majors
The Center for Student Success and First-Year Experience offers professional advising to all freshman studies (undeclared) students. Entering the University of Mississippi as a Freshman Studies major gives you the chance to explore your interests and majors before you make a decision.
- The largest cohort of entering freshmen is in freshman studies, so being unsure on a major is not uncommon.
- Your professional academic advisor will guide you through taking courses that fit your interests to help you choose a major.
The University requires that you declare a major by the time you reach 45 credit hours.
