Student Success Workshops

We conduct many workshops throughout the school year on themes related to time management, organization, study skills, note-taking, and much more. (We also offer group workshops to student organizations).

Student Success Workshops are a semester-long series open to all Ole Miss Students. Each workshop is designed to teach students how to create their own learning tools. The techniques shown help students reflect on how they learn and practice alternative study techniques for more effective and efficient learning. Students may attend any or all workshops.

Workshops are held on the following topics:

  • Time Management
  • Test Prep Plans
  • Reading Strategies
  • Mapping Strategies
  • Note Taking

What are Student Success Workshops and how do they work?, a video explanation.

Spring 2026 Workshops will take place in the Johnson Commons East, room 112E, at 12:20 p.m. on Thursdays, beginning the second week of classes and ending the last regular week of classes.

Student Success Tutoring

Our office works with each department on campus to put together lists of academic tutoring available throughout each Fall and Spring semester.

Check back for Spring 2026 Departmental Tutoring beginning the second week of classes.

Our office has partnered with the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning to let students know about Supplemental Instruction (also known as SI) for various classes on campus.

Contact Dakota Robertson for additional tutoring resources.
