Success Coaches

Success Coaches are dedicated to helping sophomores, juniors, and seniors define academic, personal, and career goals.

How Success Coaches Help You Get the Most Out of College

Success Coaches work hard to help sophomores, juniors, and seniors get the most out of their college experience.

  • We provide intellectual, emotional, social, and cultural guidance to students so they can reach their goals as students and can continue that success as graduates.
  • In order to excel at our work, we strive to build strong relationships with their students to help identify strengths, boost motivation, cultivate confidence, and address any barriers to success.

What Success Coaches Don't Do

Where are here to help, 100%. But part of your growth as a student is handling many of the day-to-day and possibly difficult realities of campus life on your own.

Here's some of the things Success Coaches won't help with and trust you to do on your own:

  • Academic Advising / Registration
  • Make decisions for students
  • Complete students’ work for them
  • Serve as mediators between faculty and students
  • Contact faculty or staff on the student’s behalf
  • Provide subject-specific tutoring
  • Provide psychological counseling services
  • Lift Holds. We will advocate for students when working with offices across campus, but we are not able to lift holds.
