Collegiate Recovery Community

The Collegiate Recovery Community provides support for current students in recovery from alcohol and other drugs.

Collegiate Recovery Community

The Mission of the Collegiate Recovery Community

The Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC) at the University of Mississippi provides a nurturing, affirming environment in which students recovering from substance use disorder can pursue academic goals, elicit social support and engage in opportunities in the Lafayette Oxford University (LOU) community.

The CRC community establishes an academic and social support system to address the unique challenges recovering students face in a collegiate environment. Together, recovering students have an increased opportunity to excel academically while maintaining long-term recovery.

CRC members gain access to:

  • Private spaces on campus to relax, meet, and study while in recovery
  • Free programs and events geared toward students in recovery
  • Scholarship opportunities up to $1250 for students in recovery
  • Opportunities to fellowship and engage with other CRC members

Please reach out to learn more below if you are a student who is:

  • Interested in learning more about the journey to recovery
  • In recovery and interested in substance use support options
  • Curious about what it means to be in recovery
  • In recovery and seeking additional support
