Meet CETL's Graduate Teaching Fellows!
What kinds of courses do you currently teach or hope to teach in the future?
Over the past two years I've been a teaching assistant for early and modern British literature, and modern American literature. This year I'm looking to being an instructor of record in first-year writing.
What is your favorite part of teaching or TAing?
I love it when my students show, either through their writing or our classroom discussion, that they've considered how the books we've read might have meaning in their own lives.
What are you most looking forward to during your time as a Graduate Teaching Fellow with CETL?
I've learned so much about how to be a more effective teacher from CETL staff and through participating in their many programs over my first two years as a graduate student. Now, I'm looking forward to helping a new class of graduate students develop those skills.
