Practitioners of Distinction
Thank you for nominating a University of Mississippi School of Education alum for our 2024 Hall of Fame and Practitioners of Distinction Awards.
Each year, The School of Education Board of Advisors accepts nominations for the Hall of Fame and Practitioners of Distinction alumni awards. Recipients of our alumni awards are recognized each spring.
THE SCHOOL OF EDUCATION HALL OF FAME honors select alumni for their contributions to the field of education through good deeds and service, all of which perpetuate the good name of the University of Mississippi School of Education and/or the education profession. Hall of Fame inductees typically have 25+ years of experience in the field of education.
THE SCHOOL OF EDUCATION PRACTITIONERS OF DISTINCTION recognizes individuals who imagine, innovate, and inspire the fields of P-12 teaching, higher education, educational leadership, counseling, and more through professional practice. Honorees are typically currently-serving practitioners at all educational career levels.
Current School of Education Faculty, Staff and members of the SOE Board of Advisors are ineligible for consideration. Self-nominations are welcome.
All nominations are considered for three years. If you have any questions, please contact Development Officer Kelly Smith Marion.
Nominations will be accepted through Friday, January 12th, 2024.
