Purchasing Instructions
Licenses for select software applications are available at the FTDC. These licenses may be purchased for installation on any University owned computer. To purchase any of these software titles, you will need to have available a departmental account number (cost center), as well as the property control number of the computer on which the software will be installed. Enter this information in the software request form, and we will share the installer files with you via Box.

Microsoft Software
The campus has a campus-wide Microsoft Campus and School agreement which provides a one year license of Microsoft Office 365 for free for all employee computers. Employees can download the Office apps using the steps below.
- Visit Office 365 Portal
- Log in using your WebID and password.
- Click the Install and More button in the top-right quadrant of the screen.
- Choose Install Microsoft 365 Apps.
- Select Install Office to download and install the latest version of Microsoft Office.
If you need Microsoft Office for a Lab, Conference room, or Classroom computer, you will still need to purchase it through FTDC. Licenses for MS Office lab installs and other Microsoft applications may be purchased for installation on any University owned computer. To purchase any of these software titles, you will need to have available a departmental account number, as well as the property control number of the computer on which the software will be installed. Adobe Software
Licenses for Adobe software applications are available through the FTDC. The majority of these Adobe licenses are subscription based and must be renewed on an annual basis. Licenses can be purchased through the software request form.
Antivirus Software
Windows Defender Antivirus is free for all University owned computers. See Antivirus Instructions for more information.
