Six actors perform on a theater stage arranged around the skeletal yellow frame of a school bus with large tires and a stop sign. The backdrop is dark blue, decorated with chalk-like drawings of planets, stars, and rockets. Five performers stand spread across the stage wearing colorful, reflective clothing and shining small blue lights directly toward the audience, while one performer kneels near a tire in the foreground.

An important component of our mission is arts educational outreach for children. Area schools are invited attend an age-appropriate theatrical event. The shows offers educational materials to help the teachers prepare the students before they attended the performances.

Two generous donors, Nancye B. Starnes and Joc and Leigh Anne Carpenter of the Madison Charitable Fund, share our passion for this outreach and provide donations to fund the initiative each year. With their contributions, tickets are only $5.00 for students and teachers are given free admission.
