Caleb Pearce
Biography
Caleb Pearce is a second-year graduate student at the University of Mississippi, pursuing a Master of Music in Choral Conducting. A native of Ellisville, Mississippi, Caleb earned his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Ole Miss in 2023 after beginning his collegiate studies at Jones College, where he served as president of the Concert Choir. At the University of Mississippi, he has performed in opera and theatre productions, worked as a stage technician at the Gertrude C. Ford Center, and been active in the American Choral Directors Association. His church music experience includes serving as a choral scholar and tenor section leader at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Oxford, as well as directing choirs, praise teams, and worship services at congregations in Mississippi, such as FBC Holly Springs. Caleb has also assisted with regional choir conferences and competitions, led sectionals, and provided private voice instruction. In his graduate assistantship, he works closely with the choral program on rehearsal preparation, event coordination, and community engagement. His long-term goal is to become both a solo performing artist and the conductor of a professional choir of his own creation. Outside of his musical work, Caleb enjoys powerlifting, gaming, and connecting with others.
