I am a Ph.D. student in Health and Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. Originally from Arcadia, Florida, I earned both my undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of South Florida. I chose to continue my studies at Ole Miss because of my strong interest in skeletal muscle physiology and my desire to further understand the body’s responses to exercise, an area that aligned well with the opportunity to work under the mentorship of Dr. Loenneke. Looking ahead, I plan to pursue a career in academia where I can teach, conduct research, and mentor future students in the field of Exercise Science.
