Hayden Joyner
Biography
Hayden Joyner graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. During his undergraduate studies, he was an active member of the University of Mississippi University Chorus, Men’s Glee, and Concert Singers and was a member of Dr. Jos Milton’s voice studio. Outside of performance, Hayden was a Luckyday Scholar, nominated for the Taylor Medal, and received recognition at the annual University of Mississippi School of Music’s Honors Convocation as the Outstanding Undergraduate Vocal Music Educator.
Hayden completed his student teaching at South Panola High School in Batesville, MS to conclude his undergraduate degree. He is also an active member of the Ole Miss Student ACDA chapter, as well as the MSACDA. Hayden is currently a first-year graduate student at The University of Mississippi, pursuing a Master’s Degree in Choral Conducting, and is excited to learn with and from his peers as he serves as a Graduate Assistant for the Choral Department.
