New Student Orientation

WHAT WE DO

Orientation exists to assist new undergraduate students (freshmen and transfers) and their families by supporting their transition to life as a part of the UM community – academically, socially and culturally. Your orientation experience will provide the opportunity to complete the enrollment process by registering for classes, as well as meet classmates, faculty, staff, administration, and learn about campus resources and services that will help you become successful while you’re here.

Summer 2026 Orientation Registration will open March 2nd in your Enrollment Portal

Students beginning classes in Summer or August 2026 will be able to sign up for orientation in March in your Enrollment Portal!
