Transfer Student Orientation

Transfer Orientation is designed to help newly admitted transfer students get familiar with campus life, connect with resources and fellow students, and prepare for a successful transition to Ole Miss.

Orientation leaders hug and smile at each other in the Grove while holding two "Free Hugs" signs.

Welcome to Orientation!

The Ole Miss orientation leaders and staff would like to welcome you to our family. We are excited you have finally chosen our institution, and we look forward to the journey ahead. The transfer orientation programs are designed for transfer students and their family members. These sessions will provide students and their family members with an opportunity to get acclimated to this new campus.

  • Send in a photograph of yourself and completed ID form to the ID Center to have your student ID made.
  • Check the orientation website and your Ole Miss email for updates often.
