UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES


The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Brief Bio

Alison Hitch joined the University of Mississippi in August 2014 as a FASTrack instructor for the Department of Writing & Rhetoric. Alison is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin where she earned a BA in English. She received a MA in English literature from Murray State University in 2003 and the PhD in English from the University of Kentucky in 2020. Alison's professional interests include composition studies, student success and retention, and twentieth-century British literature.
