Brief Bio
Angus S. Mungal is an Assistant Professor of Educational Administration & Leadership. Dr. Mungal received his PhD from New York University. Dr. Mungal began as a lecturer at the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education at the University of Toronto, Canada. Dr. Mungal took a position at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP)in 2013. In 2020, Dr. Mungal joined the Leadership & Counselor Education at the University of Mississippi. He has received funding from Paso del Norte Foundation to conduct research on afterschool programs. Dr. Mungal has published numerous academic papers on teacher preparation, alternative certification programs, academic articles focusing on qualitative research, and practitioner articles on leadership and administration. Dr. Mungal has also published with several doctoral students. Dr. Mungal co-authored Steps to Success in 2020 and is currently working on his second book on Alternative and For-Profit Teacher Preparation.
